The UAE government provides a user-friendly online platform to check visa details, managed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) or the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) for Dubai-specific visas.

To check your UAE visa status, you should have your passport number, visa application number, reference number, login details, and email address. You will be notified by email whether your UAE visa has been approved or rejected.

Method 2: Using the GDRFA Portal (Dubai Visas)

If your visa is issued in Dubai, use the GDRFA Dubai website and follow the steps below.

• Visit the GDRFA Website at www.gdrfad.gov.ae
• Select the option to click on the “visa status.”

You will see the many options to check the status of your visa.

• In search by section, select “Application.” 
• Enter your “Application Number” in the box.
• Enter your “Transaction Number” in the box.
• Select “Payment Date.”
• Click on the box “I am not a robot” and complete the CAPTCHA.
• Click on the “Search” button.

After submitting the details, you will see your visa application with details such as your Name, Visa Expiry Date, Visa Type, and Visa Number.
